Directions - Route 1 (2.5-3.5 hours)
From Sofia take the A1 to Plovdiv. Before reaching Plovdiv, exit the highway and take 805 and turn onto 86 to Assenovgrad and stay on the road to Pamporovo and Smolyan. Upon reaching Pamporovo, turn West in the direction of Dospat to reach Shiroka Laka. Once in Shiroka Laka, cross the main square and take the first left over the bridge heading to the village of Gela.
Directions - Route 2 (3.5 - 4.5 hours)
From Sofia take highway 1 to Blagoevgrad and at Simitli, turn onto 19 East for Bansko and Gotse Delchev. Drive through Bansko and South along the Pirin Mountains towards Gotse Delchev and before reaching it take the 1905 then 197 East to Dospat and Devin. Near Devin, take a right onto the 866 direction East to Shiroka Laka and Pamporovo. Having entered Shiroka Laka take the first right over the bridge, before reaching the main square, in direction to the village of Gela.
